REDEFINING THE TERM "ART PHOTOS"

ART IS BY NO MEANS ALL THERE IS WITHIN THE CONTENTS OF AN IMAGE SNAPPED ON A BUSY CITY STREET. NO, AS ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS KNOW, IT IS THE EYE OF THE CAMERA THAT IS TRAINED BY THE EYES OF THE ONE WHO POINTS THE CAMERA THAT DETERMINES WHAT IS ART AND WHAT IS NOT.
By Earl R. Stonebridge in a recent conversation with two Japanese photographers visiting Santa Monica for the first time. For more about this conversation, and photos, check back in several hours.
