Those who read Japanese will surely smile when trying to read my take on the written signs............I had too much sake when it came to filling in the signs. Painted in a hotel room in Motomachi in 1961. DId quite a few. I gave quite a few away in the local bars around the area. On many occasions, I went back and found they were framed and behind the bar. It was a fun time and would have been much more rewarding had I lessened the sake intake. Maybe the second time around will be different. Life is too short for the amount of experience we need to gain what should be common sense wisdom. But this, of course, is all opinion and might be described by words such as "moderation in all things."
